Magazine
This is where you create and manage news articles for the website’s Magazine section. Remember, when creating articles it’s essential to stay on brand. For guidance, see the Images and Writing sections of the style guide.
Categories
Click Add News category to create categories for your articles.
Tags
Tags are keywords that relate to an article’s content. They help make your Magazine content searchable. To create a tag, add your keyword to the Name field. Then pick articles it relates to form the News selector.
News
This is where you create your news articles, starting with the Title and Slug.
There
are two tabs: General and Images.
General
Category
Select a news category from the list. These are created in the Magazine>Categories section.
Date
Date
of creation.
Tags
The related tags created in the Magazine>Tags section are displayed here.
Text
This
is the main text of your news story. You can write it here, or copy and paste it from
another editor like MS Word.
Published
Select this checkbox to
publish the article.
Images
Choose a header image for the article, a grid image for the Magazine page
thumbnail, a home grid image for the homepage thumbnail, and an image to show on
the side of the article.
Click on Save and back to save your updates.
You
can hide or publish this section using the hide_sections option in Settings. Once a section is hidden on the website it will no
longer be visible on the main menu or in footer.
