Suppliers

Here you can add all the information needed for the distributors, installers and technical service centres that users search for via the Where to buy or Service Centres pages on the website.

You can add or edit suppliers. The fields marked with asterisk are mandatory.

To add a new supplier, click Add Supplier.

Types

Choose between types of authorised supplier: distributors, installers or technical service.

When the type of a supplier is installer, it can belong also to the installer subtypes "Air conditioning installer" and / or "Heat pump installer". If installer type is selected without specifying a subtype, the supplier will be considered to belong to both "Air conditioning installer" and "Heat pump installer" subtypes. That would be the same behavior that having both subtypes selected. In case an installer subtype is selected without selecting the main type installer, this will be inserted automatically when saving the form.

Installer Types
Here you can edit the translations, slug and SEO information for each of these two installer subtypes.

When the website settings are set to show two maps, the installers map will show a filter to select the installer subtype - all by default -. When the site is set to show one map, no filter will be shown, as all installers and distributors are appearing together on the map.

Translations and SEO information related to the three main supplier types is located in the CMS - Pages menu (maps section, where to buy pages).

Choosing an image file is optional. If you don’t choose one, the Hitachi logo will be displayed by default.

You can search by postcode, city, state or province. By default the map will show the results at 30km radius. You can customize the km or miles using the suppliers_search_radius option in Settings.

You can hide or publish this section using the hide_sections option in Settings. Once a section is hidden on the website it will no longer be visible on the main menu or in footer.
